June is the SWING Month for 2015!  The Reflection Month - the Re-evaluation Month - the Reconnection Month. The month to decide one of two things -- to go for it and make your 2015 dreams come true Or to let your dreams wait for another day and make a promise to yourself to reignite them in 2016  Before you save your dream for another day listen to what Lisa Nichols has to say in the movie, "The Secret" -- "When you follow your bliss you live in a constant state of joy and you open yourself up to the abundance of the universe.  You are excited to share your life with the ones you love, and your excitement - your passion - your bliss - it becomes contagious!  You were born to add value to this world, to simply be the best you can be.  Every little thing you have been through, every single moment you have come through were to all prepare you for this moment right now.  YOU are the creator of your destiny.  Imagine what you can do from this day forward with what you now know.  What will you do with this moment?  How will you seize your moment?  No one else can dance your dance.....No one else can sing  your song....No one else can write your story.  Who you are - what you do - begins RIGHT NOW!"

      My Beautiful Daughter, Diana, graduated Summa Cum Laude (top 3% of her class!!) from one of the top law schools for international human rights law...Her dream has come true!  So Exciting!

  • Leadership Coaching Tip for JUNE:  Reframe how you perceive your problem. - Many times we create the exact pain we are trying to avoid.  Ask yourself the following questions:  (1) What is the immediate pain I am trying to avoid?  For example - If you are trying to lose weight, you may want to avoid a healthier diet or making time for exercise.  (2) What is the immediate pleasure I want instead?  Your immediate pleasure may be the luxury of eating all the foods you want and/or never needing to juggle your schedule to fit in exercise.  (3) What is the avoidance costing me?  The avoidance of eating healthier and exercising may cost you joy, accomplishment and happiness.  Awareness: By avoiding a healthier diet or juggling your schedule for exercise (perceived pleasure) - you are actually causing the one thing you are trying to avoid - Pain.  The pain of staying the same, which may cause a lack of accomplishment, loss of joy and unhappiness. Awareness:  Since you are causing the one thing you are trying to avoid in both situations: Pain. Consider what is truly causing you the most pain: (1.) The pain of eating healthier and making time for exercise  (2.) OR The pain of staying the same and experiencing lack of accomplishment, loss of joy and unhappiness?  (This reframe works on any behavior you want to change - not just diet and exercise.)
